"Basic Instinct" author converts to Christianity
Check out this conversion story - how awesome God is! How loving and how willing He is to accept those who reach the end of their rope and truly cry out to Him. There is no other god like this. Can you imagine "Allah" acting this way - receiving someone who, in desperation, cries out to Him (in faith, without the 5 pillars and enough good works)? What about one of the Hindu deities? The Mormon "Jesus" who died so that we could earn our way to heaven? Or any other man-made god?No, this is the One who, when dying on a cross, heard a desperate thief say "Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom" and replied, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." (Luke 23:42-43)
All it really takes to be saved is a heart that truly cries out to God in desperation. And He'll answer.
